We've released helium balloons again this year. If you have found a balloon, please let us know. We would like to track all balloons found to see how far they get.

We have had a great response and wonderful ideas for our new logo. I will be updating this post as entries are received.Don't forget to vote for your favorite by adding a comment to this post, and be sure to indicate the number of your choice! (Please only vote once).

There will be a vote after service on Sunday, Oct. 25 and the chosen logo will be announced on November 1st!

St Lukes needs a logo!

We are having a contest to design our logo. Our logo will be used for this website, envelopes, letterheads, shirts and anything else that we can slap it on.

If you have an artistic flair we want your ideas, but don't get discouraged if you don't think you are talented enough! God may have given you talents you don't even know about yet. Anyone can submit a design!

Logos can include text but should be mostly graphic. Beyond that, it's all you. You can submit as many times as you wish! Get as creative as possible. Some ideas may include the church's initials or full name, a dove, cross, pulpit, or any other biblical imagery. Submissions will be posted here as they are received. Follow along and post comments - and even check out some of the others for ideas.

Logo Examples

Submissions can be handed in on paper in the lobby or via emailed to logo@stlukesoshawa.com. Logo designs can be hand drawn or computer edited. When you submit, please include your full name, phone number and email address if you have one.

Please note that the winning logo will have to be converted to a vector based graphic and may not be exactly as drawn.

All entries must be received by October 11th and the winner will be announced on Sunday November 1st.
